Sally Faraday
As Research Manager at the Learning and Skills Network (LSN), Sally led the Personalised Learning Research Centre, managing an extensive portfolio of R&D projects for a wide range of organisations and government departments. Her expertise includes both qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistical data analysis, literature reviews, interview and questionnaire surveys and action research. Previously she was a part-time registered Ofsted Inspector, a Local Authority Adviser and worked as a manager and teacher in schools, FE colleges and adult community education. Examples of her recent work include: developing and testing for the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) a quality assurance process for recognising and recording progress and achievement in non-accredited learning; undertaking a review of non-medical helper support in HE for the Student Loans Company; researching and writing Effective Teaching and Learning in Vocational Education for City and Guilds and LSN.
