Lorna Lindsay

Lorna has worked in the learning and skills sector for over 30 years in a variety of settings including an FE College, Training & Enterprise Council (TEC) and the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and until 2013 was Regional Development Manager for the Learning & Skills Improvement Service (LSIS).

Lorna is a Senior Associate on the Future Apprenticeships programme, guiding providers on preparing for the introduction of the new Apprenticeship Standards, organising and delivering sector workshops, advising on delivery, end-point assessment and curriculum planning.

An experienced project manager, Lorna has successfully managed and delivered a range of programmes including; Growing Traineeships, Traineeship progression for L&W, funded by DfE, Teach Too, one-to-one consultancy support for the Traineeship Staff Support Programme (TSSP) and Apprenticeship Staff Support Programme (ASSP), facilitating Outstanding Teaching Learning & Assessment (OTLA) projects, networks and events and is a consultant for the Society for Training & Education (SET).

Lorna is an approved Associate for the Education & Training Foundation (ETF), the Association of Employer and Learning Providers (AELP), the Association of Colleges (AoC), the Learning & Work Institute (L&W), emfec and ACER.
